OK, so we used to have an HREM, but we sold it. This is what it looked like in pieces:

Instead of (before)

The Hitachi H-9000 was a top-entry HREM with an information limit in the range of 0.16-0.18nm (dependent upon the sample). It was equipped with a Gatan TV camera and a framestore for digital acquisition of images. Any experienced user of electron microscopes could use the instrument
