Typical imaging parameters for the Hitachi H9000 HREM are:

Cs ~ 0.9 mm

Defocus spread is ~ 8 nm, i.e.

Beam convergence is ~ 0.68 mrad (for condenser aperture number 1, spot size 3)

Based on Cs, the Scherzer defocus at 300 kV is -43 nm. The third order astigmatism has not been determined.

These values are typical for the H9000, and have been confirmed to be roughly correct by quantitative comparison between calculated and experimental images. They will however vary depending on the imaging conditions used, specimen height, etc. An additional parameter which affects performance, but which has not been determined for the H9000, is the 3rd order astigmatism.
