Research Interests

My research focuses on studying the surfaces of supported nanoparticle catalyst systems and their overall effects. These surfaces and interfaces are probed with a number of techniques, including various TEM functionalities such as diffraction, imaging, and spectroscopy as well as other advanced characterization techniques. Catalytic studies are also performed to observe how these surface properties affect the effectiveness of the system.
