NUMIS
NUMIS, Northwestern University Multislice and Imaging Software is a
copyrighted set of programs dedicated to run on Apollo computers, and
includes the
Semper 6 software, a set of programs to interface to an Imaging Technology
Framestore, and multislice and imaging programs.
A very simple example is shown below, a simulation of TiO2 (rutile)
for as a function of thickness (across) and defocus (down) for conditions
typical of the H-9000 at Northwestern.
Currently under development is a modification of these programs that
will be called X-NUMIS that will be a freeware X-windows system for
multislice and imaging (the Semper software is independently licensed
by Synoptics Ltd).
